Science Research

Rate-dependent material behavior, material damage and failure analysis; mechanics of composite materials; thermal-fatigue analysis; numerical methods for Fluid-Structure interaction problems; biomechanics such as biological tissue material modeling, blunt trauma aorta injury criteria in vehicle impacts, chronic thoracic aortic disease such as aortic dissection, intra-mural haematoma

Teaching

Introduction of Solid Mechanics, Strength of Materials, Elasticity, Finite Element Analysis and its software such as LS-DYNA, ABAQUS, Damage Mechanics, Material Engineering, Machine Design and Analysis, Mathematics, Chinese Engineering Service Translations of books and documents of engineering and science in both English and Chinese
